Welcome Sisters!!

I am so so so excited that you decided to stop by and read and hopefully join the community! Why did I start this blog? How did it come about? I knew you’d be wondering so that is what this first blog post is about. So this was an idea that God placed in my heart. As I look around I see so many women who are in the same place in which I used to be. And where exactly did I use to be? That’s a post all within itself, but lets just say I was broken!! In heart , in spirit and in mind! My self esteem was at an all time low and I had no idea who I was. I put all my hope in a “man” or “boyfriend” just to be let down time after time again and be left lower then what I was found.

It was nobody’s fault, not even my own. I simply just did not know who I was nor WHOSE I was. I was looking for my worth in man when it could only be found in God. Jesus was the only one who could help me. Man could not give me my worth, he couldn’t crown me because I had already been crowned by God, I just didn’t know it yet! And that is where the name came from. Now you may find yourself in that same situation or maybe you can relate because you had a past like mines as well. Maybe you don’t relate to that at all, but that too is okay.

Whether you are in that situation now and have no idea how to get out or if you use to be in a similar situation and just need help to navigate your way into your new identity, orrrr if you just want to read and grow in your relationship with Christ we can do it together! The thing that completely changed my life was accepting Jesus into my life. And it is actually much more simple than you may be thinking. In Romans 10:9-10 it reads “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” It is just as simple as confessing and believing that Jesus is Lord and that He died and rose again for your sins. If you have never done that before pray this prayer with me:

Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner in need of a savior. Come into my heart and save me. I believe that you died and rose again for my sins and I am asking you to come into my heart and to be the Lord of my life. In Jesus name Amen.

If you just prayed that prayer you are now apart of the Kingdom of God! Yayyyy! All of heaven is rejoicing. Now my advice would be to get a Bible if you do not already have one and find a church that teaches the word and that works for you. Ask God to send you to the right place and He will. Pray. It is as simple as talking to God. Don’t be afraid to ask Him questions because he is eager to hear from you. So now that you know the why behind this blog and that you have accepted Jesus into your heart, do not go anywhere because this is just the beginning. Continue to come back and read!
